Mission, Vision, & Culture

Our Mission

We exist to help people live elevated lives by Knowing Jesus, Growing in faith through relationships, and Going into the world sharing the love of Christ.

Our Vision

The vision of Elevation Church is to be the church in our community. This means we live out the great commandment, “Love the Lord your God” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” We express love to God through our large group worship gatherings, our small group Bible discussions, and personal interaction with God. We love others by sharing our lives, our blessings, and our faith with them.

We also carry out the Great Commission in which Jesus instructs his church to “go make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

Discipleship begins with authentic relationships. It may take months or even years, but the goal of discipleship is to help others understand God’s purpose for them – who they are, why they are here, and what to do with this information. Discipleship is one of our values at Elevation Church.

Our Culture

Elevation Church has developed a culture of being a ‘dirty church’. Don’t let that scare you…we’re not X-rated! Dirty church refers to our roll-up your sleeves and go to work attitude. We are active in our community feeding about 150 homeless/needy people in Denton every month, supporting the Open Harvest Pantry in Lewisville, and serving with the Town of Flower Mound in projects like the annual Kid Fish event, the Independence Day Celebration, and the ‘Year of the Bible’ project.
